Hello! My name is Bret Schoolcraft and I am the owner and creator behind The Gooch Gardener Candle Co.. The Gooch Gardener started as an Instagram profile about the trials and tribulations of a backyard flower and vegetable garden in Goochland, Virginia. My passion for gardening soon blossomed into the world of candles. You may be wondering how a gardener like me got into candles - let’s just say with 6 dogs and 2 cats living in our house, we burn A LOT of candles. But it is so hard to find GOOD candles, let alone AMAZING candles.

That got me to thinking, how wonderful would it be to bring the beautiful fragrances from the garden into our house year-round? Voila! The Gooch Gardener Candle Co. was born!
